SHERBROOKE, LAND OF FRESCO MURALS
The Story of Sherbrooke in Historical Frescos
The Mural tour starts where it all began for Sherbrooke: the downtown intersection of Wellington Nord and Frontenac, just a few paces from the Place des Moulins overhanging the confluence of the Magog and St-Francis rivers. From that location, the tour moves from one fascinating historical painting to the next. This unique attraction transforms the downtown area into a street museum. Wall-to-wall art, history and culture.
We invite you to discover life in the olden days with this tribute to Sherbrooke’s historic families, local characters, and familiar old-time merchants of the old Sherbrooke.
